The real truth behind household power savers

The real truth behind household power savers

A household power low voltage saving devices has recently received a lot of attention from both consumers and manufacturers. It is generally used in residential homes to save energy and to reduce electricity bills. It is a small device which is to be plugged in any of the AC sockets in the house (Mostly near Energy Meter). Moreover, some of the companies claim that their power savers save up to 40% of the energy.

Many people believe that the claims made by the power savers manufacturing companies are false. Almost all people who buy power savers do it to reduce their electricity bills.

Many people who have used these power savers said that they could reduce their electricity bills with the devices; however the reduction was not as much as they had expected. Moreover, they could not figure out if the reduction in electricity bills was due to the power savers or because of their efforts to reduce their electrical usage. There have been several serious discussions about the genuineness of the device.

In this note, we will try to find the real truth behind these power savers which claim to save as much as 40% of energy.

Working Principle of Power Saver as per Manufacture

A Power Saver is a device which plugs in to power socket. Apparently just by keeping the device connected it will immediately reduce your power consumption. Typical claims are savings between 25% and 40%.

It is known that the electricity that comes to our homes is not stable in nature. There are many fluctuations, raise and falls, and surges/Spikes in this current. This unstable current cannot be used by any of the household appliances. Moreover, the fluctuating current wastes the electric current from the circuit by converting electrical energy into heat energy.

This heat energy not only gets wasted to the atmosphere, but also harms the appliances and wiring circuit.

Power Saver stores the electricity inside of it using a system of capacitors and they release it in a smoother way to normal without the spikes. The systems also automatically remove carbon from the circuit which also encourages a smoother electrical flow. This means that we will have less power spikes. More of the electricity flowing around circuit can be used to power appliances than before.

Basically it is claimed that Power savers work on the principle of surge protection technology. Power savers work on straightening this unstable electric current to provide a smooth and constant output. The fluctuation in voltage is unpredictable and cannot be controlled. However, the power savers utilize current fluctuation to provide a usable power by acting like a filter and allowing only smooth current to pass through the circuit. Power savers use capacitors for this purpose. When there is a surge of current in the circuit, the capacitor of the power saver stores the excess current and releases it when there is a sudden drop. Thus only smooth output current comes out of the device.

Moreover, a power saver also removes any type of carbon in the system, which facilitates further smoother flow. The main advantage of power savers is not that they provide a backup system in times of low current, but that it protects the household appliances. It is known that a sudden rise in the power can destroy the electrical appliance. Thus, the power saver not only protects the appliance but also increases its life. Moreover, they also reduce the energy consumption and thus the electricity bills.

The amount of power saved by a power saver depends on the number of appliances on the electrical circuit. Also, the system takes at least a week to adapt itself fully to the circuit, before it starts showing its peak performance. The maximum amount of voltage savings will be seen in areas where in the current fluctuation is the highest.

Household Power Saver Scam Review

Power Factor Correction for residential customers (home owners) is a scam? At most, each unit is worth as an investment. Power factor correction does make sense for some commercial / industrial customers.

Many companies are promoting and advertise that their Power Saver unit are able to save domestic residential power consumption by employing an “active power factor correction” method on the supply line. The concept seems pretty impressive as the concept is true and legally accepted. But practically, we will find that it’s not feasible.

What is internet marketing ?

What is internet marketing ?

Internet Marketing is an all-inclusive term for marketing products and/or services online – and like many all-inclusive terms, Internet marketing means different things to different people.

Essentially, though, Internet marketing refers to the strategies that are used to market a product or service online, marketing strategies that include search engine optimization and search engine submission, copywriting that encourages site visitors to take action, web site design strategies, online promotions, reciprocal linking, and email marketing – and that’s just hitting the highlights.

Online marketers are constantly devising new Internet marketing strategies in the hopes of driving more traffic to their Web sites and making more sales; witness the increasing use of blogs as marketing tools for business, for instance. (For more about creating a blog and how to use blogs as an Internet marketing strategy, see my Blog FAQ For Businesses.)

If you’re new to Internet marketing, I recommend focusing on web design and search engine optimization as a starting point; for most sites, the most traffic still comes from search engines and directories.

Also Known As: Web marketing, Web site marketing, online marketing.
Common Misspellings: Internet marketing, Internet marketting.

Is Samsung the best tech company in the world?

Is Samsung the best tech company in the world?

Samsung has shown it is the Alpha of the phone market. While leading Android as their leader, Apple and other companies have done many things to take them down like acsesive sueing or false accusations of copying. They have shown to have the best camera, specs, and processors in the world. They give their engineers a free life for their families with top notch education. They also support and government and invest heavily in Asian markets giving people better lives. They give tons of money to charity and gives schools around the world and in the U.S. To conclude, Samsung it the best company.

Innovation at its best No one comes close when it comes to atleast the hardware aspect of things. They lead in manufacturing TVs and smartphones. They are definitely getting screwed up in the lower segment by Xiaomi etc and in the upper segment by Apple, but their latest flagships are the best phones you can possibly buy, without doubt.
They have superior technology in displays, and are the only one capable of building curved displays. They have the best cameras. Even for the popular iPhones, a lot of its components such as displays are manufactured by Samsung. They are investing heavily in software, and hopefully will become more complete in near future, so that they could achieve their true potential in tech industry.

Samsung is the best Unlike apple Samsung makes phones for all classes of people. If anyone says about its not so good things better stop comparing with low end varieties , the high end varieties are always ahead of other phones, even apple. Apple always copies the design from Samsung and os from android .Waiting for the day when apple brings edge phones claiming it their invention and all apple geeks following it blindly.

Samsung is best tech company Samsung is best tech company. I heard someone say apple makes more money. To Samsung it's not about the money. To Samsung it's about being a innovator and trendsetter. They are way ahead of most of their competitors by 10 yrs. This includes apple. They do everything well. In my opinion, I believe samsung has more cash than apple, microsoft, htc, google etc. Just because you make more money doesn't make you the best. For yrs guys made more money than Michael Jordan, but, they weren't better than him. With Samsung it's about the Love and specs

Cameroon Economy 2016

Cameroon Economy 2016

Economy - overview:
Because of its modest oil resources and favorable agricultural conditions, Cameroon has one of the best-endowed primary commodity economies in sub-Saharan Africa. Still, it faces many of the serious problems confronting other underdeveloped countries, such as stagnant per capita income, a relatively inequitable distribution of income, a top-heavy civil service, endemic corruption, and a generally unfavorable climate for business enterprise. Since 1990, the government has embarked on various IMF and World Bank programs designed to spur business investment, increase efficiency in agriculture, improve trade, and recapitalize the nation's banks. The IMF is pressing for more reforms, including increased budget transparency, privatization, and poverty reduction programs. Subsidies for electricity, food, and fuel have strained the budget. Cameroon has several large infrastructure projects under construction, including a deep sea port in Kribi and the Lom Pangar Hydropower Project. It also recently opened a natural gas powered electricity generating plant. Cameroon must attract more investment to improve its inadequate infrastructure, but its business environment is a deterrent to foreign investment.

Educational System in Uruguay

Educational System

The Uruguayan education system is organised into levels:
Pre-School Education
Primary Education (6 years)
Middle School Education: basic cycle (3 years) and second cycle or baccalaureate (3 years)

Tertiary or Higher Education
Pre-School or Initial Education:
The infant population between 3 and 5 years of age attend and it is mandatory for children of 5 years of  age.
Primary Education

The population from 6 to 14 years attend in common, special (attended by children with different abilities) and rural education modes. It is mandatory and free.
Middle School Education

Basic Cycle: Is attended by the student population which progresses from primary education. It is common to students with all preferences and is mandatory in nature.
Second Cycle: Diversified Baccalaureate and Technical Education. The first level of baccalaureate is divided into three basic areas - Biology, Arts and Sciences - which are diversified into 6 options in the second and final levels and are required for entry to tertiary studies.
Technical Education: This has different modes lasting from 1 to 7 years. It is divided into four sectors - Agricultural, Industrial, Craft Artistic and Services.
Professional Technical Education: Its most advanced courses enable entry to University and Teacher Training studies.

Tertiary or Higher Education

This level is divided into University Higher Education and Non-University Higher Education, according to Decree 308/995, approved on 11 August 1995.
Higher University Education comprises the Universidad de la República (autonomous and free), as well as four private universities (Universidad Católica, Universidad ORT, Universidad de Montevideo and Universidad de la Empresa).

Non-University Higher Education comprises Teacher Training Institutes, the Centro de Diseño Industrial within the ambit of the Ministry of Education and Culture, the Escuela Militar, Escuela Naval and Escuela Militar de Aeronáutica in the ambit of the Ministry of Defence, Escuela Nacional de Policía in the ambit of the Ministry of the Interior and private Institutes.
Structure of the University Education System

The Private Tertiary Education System in Uruguay is regulated by Decree 308/995 for "Regulation of the

Private Tertiary Teaching System".

According to this, "tertiary teaching is that which, assuming due to its contents that its students have studied and passed the full primary and secondary or professional-technical cycles in state or authorised private institutions, deepens and extends the training in some field of knowledge" (Article 1). Within tertiary teaching is university teaching, which corresponds to that teaching which integrates processes for generation and application of knowledge through research and the extension of its activities to the social medium.

Decree 308/995 anticipates two types of university institutions (Article 4):
those which carry out teaching, research and outreach activities in one or more related disciplines or in two unrelated disciplines and which receive the name "University Institute"; and  those which carry out teaching, research and outreach activities in three or more unrelated disciplines and which use the title of "University".

Professional Degrees

A professional degree is that which accredits having taken and passed, in university institutions or universities, the studies corresponding to a full university course.
These professional degrees can be:

First University Degree, accrediting the completion of a first degree.

Specialisation, accrediting the completion of specific studies deepening knowledge in one discipline or a group of related disciplines, comprised in first university degree studies.

Master's, accrediting the completion of studies complementing, expanding on and going more deeply into first degree level university studies and research tasks which involve the active and creative management of knowledge, including the writing of a final thesis or report.

Doctorate, accrediting the completion of studies complementing, expanding on and going more deeply into master's studies and the carrying out of higher, original research tasks, involving the writing of a thesis.

Canada's Fastest-Growing Real Estate Markets

Canada's Fastest-Growing Real Estate Markets

Who's ready for some March Madness, Canadian Real Estate Edition?

It's mid-March, and spring begins this weekend -- signalling what is traditionally the busy season in real estate.
The madness in Canadian real estate hit a new peak this week when the Canadian Real Estate Association (CREA) released its stats for February -- noting that the national average price exceeded $500,000 for the first time. In February, the average price jumped 16.4 per cent year-over-year to $503,057.

So, in the spirit of the NCAA March Madness basketball tournament, YPNextHome put together our own bracket of championship housing markets across Canada.

We paired the top proximate markets across the country, using official CREA average price growth as the deciding factor. We chose a four-year window, from 2012 to end of 2015, to provide a longer-term, bigger picture context of market performance.

It's East versus West, as city market takes on city market to determine the eventual Canadian slam-dunk champion.

Spoiler alert: it's not Toronto or Vancouver.

Why did we use a four-year window?
Because we thought it would provide a more accurate picture of a real estate market over the long term. There's no secret, for example, that areas such as Calgary and Edmonton are getting hammered due to the prolonged slump in oil prices.

In Calgary, for example, home prices declined by 3.5 per cent in February on a year-over-year basis. Ouch. But looking at it over the last four years, the average price has actually risen 10 per cent. Not bad, eh?

Real estate is local
Forget that CREA says the national average price exceeded $500,000 -- climbing to $503,057 -- for the first time. Sure, it makes for interesting headlines and provides some context on a national basis.

But as Toronto-based mortgage expert Calum Ross says: "Saying there is a Canadian housing market is no less ridiculous than saying there is 'Canadian temperature.'"

Or that traffic at one end of the country is the same at the other.

"Canada represents one of single largest countries in the world and going from coast to coast, Canada is home to a very diverse group of people with local economics that are vastly different," he says.

Real estate is local, not national. You don't buy the Canadian market, or even a provincial or regional one. You buy one home in one location.

If you're buying a home in Chilliwack, B.C., where the average price is $336,000, or Yarmouth, N.S., where the average price is $125,066 -- what do you care what the national average price is?

The fact is, the national average price is heavily skewed by Vancouver and Toronto, as Canada's most active and expensive housing markets. If these two are excluded from calculations, CREA says, the average is a more modest $355,235, and the year-over-year gain is just 8.7 per cent.

How did we select which markets face which markets?
How did we "seed" the markets, using March Madness parlance? Initially, geography.

Since real estate is local, market performance is most influenced by the economic fundamentals on a provincial, regional and municipal basis. For example, Guelph would naturally take on Cambridge, since these two markets are barely 23 kilometres apart, and therefore are subject to similar challenges and opportunities in that area.

While geography was the key determining factor for which cities face off in the first round, we had to make a handful of exceptions. For example, the 32 city markets in the first round for eastern Canada were all located in Ontario, with the exception of one maritime city, Yarmouth, N.S. To help compensate for the large geographical distance, we paired Yarmouth with one of the Ontario cities located farthest east. And while this still doesn't necessarily make them fair opponents, it wouldn't be March Madness without a little controversy.

As certain cities failed to make it past the first round, proximity became less prevalent, and opposing cities advanced to the next round based on which market had a higher increase in home price growth over the last four years.

And finally...
Apologies to Quebec. CREA doesn't collect the same detailed data on this market.
